Product - Marvel Infinity Stones Artefacts

When I was young, I read manga, not Marvel comics; however, in the nineties, when the arcade era was booming, one fighting game attracted me the most: Marvel Super Heroes! In the storyline, a main antagonist named Thanos plots to use the Infinity Gems to take over the universe.

For my birthday, I typically purchase a gift for myself, as the items I prefer tend to be either costly or impractical. Let me share what I got.

Based on the title, yeah! I became Thanos to collect all the Infinity Stones from the artefacts. In the past, I used to collect actual mineral rocks that were luminous under UV light and got my own Infinity Gauntlet! However, only the Disney theme parks carried these exclusive Marvel Infinity Saga Artefacts that had Infinity Stones. I managed to find a seller who wanted to sell his entire collection, so I decided to buy it all from him... To be honest, is it worth it? I shall share my reason, and you can conclude on your own.

Personal - Cosplay in New Suit

I recently made a painful decision on my wallet (even though there was a great discount on the website): I bought a new costume for myself. I convinced myself that investing in a high-quality costume would enhance my cosplay experience.

I'm pleased to announce that it's finally here after a long wait.

Personal - IPL Underarm Hair Removal

Shaving my underarms has been one of my frequent activities while bathing. (should be once every three days) I used to have brushy armpits and I hated it so much. If it is soft and less dense, I won't even consider shaving but it just took away the aesthetic and added more hatred towards myself. Worst of all, I sweat a lot and it got so stinky and itchy (no matter how often I washed)...

Personally, I also prefer ladies to have clean armpits and Brushy armpits just simply nope. But... It doesn't resolve my issue...

And I also envied those dudes who have smooth armpits especially when they have muscle to flex too.

Product - New Captain America Costume

You know what?! I GOT MYSELF A NEW CAP COSTUME! WAHAHAAH! I had been browsing through websites and app... I was eyeing an e-shop from Aliexpress - FairytaleLand Official Store.

I missed the opportunity to get this costume at a 15% discount... Now I could not regret my stupid decision but I understand there was a reason.

M and my sister just passed my birthday money to allow me to buy anything I want. (I mentioned to M before about me wanted to get a new comfortable suit) Now with the combination of funds, I can buy a better Cap costume! Even though, it is not the best version which will cost 600-700, but it is already good enough.

In my November 2020 post about my Captain America costume (link), there was one product which I am not proud of, which is its helmet. Just too... Cheap but I believe it can be put in good use.

And I went ahead and purchase a slightly better one. On the 31st August 2022, the product delivered!

Yes! My first long post for 2022 was to visit a new place. As title, can't say it is a new place. It had been there for years, after the closure of hmm I am kind of forgotten which was it already...

This was the first image that PIERCED through my soul!

I calmed down and reflected on myself... and I know why this watch got my attention. I always wanted a skeleton watch since young, and the most desired skeleton watches I liked are just way too expensive... And this CigaDesign watch just made me lose my senses. Today was my last day of leave for 2020 (carried forward). Supposed to go for an island trip with Alvmax (as he always wanted to go, but when I managed to arrange a time to go, he can't go anymore because his granny passed away.) and since he can't make it and Jamster claimed he can make it. Today weather seemed good despite had been raining for the past two days.

Honestly, I feel very disappointed on supporting scummy and shady crowdfunding projects on Kickstarter and Indiegogo (even though there are other similar sites like those two) I had supported a total of 9 projects, only four delivered include this one while the rest just continued to ignore the supporters and happily live anonymously somewhere at Hawaii beach. Okay! I admit that I love watches. There are many nice watches which I will like to have but most of those costs 10k+ and unlimited edition like Vacheron. Oh well... but most people will never wear expensive watches casually and put it in a box then sell away like an investment. Personally, I just want to wear it! So... Expensive watches will never want to have any relationship with me; the affordable watches might be the type of watch for me. So I decided to give Happiewatch my trust to indiegogo.

Personal - Karaoke Randomly

Today supposed to have around four people taking this room at Cash Studio at Bedok, but ended up only one turn up... Oh well, such big room and beautiful decorated. I will like to come here again.

Why Cash Studio? Because other karaoke lounges are too main stream and I worked for Cash Studio before (just some fact about me), so the visiting and witnessing the big changes and expansion of this business, was rewarding and nostalgic.

Hiking - UV Torchlight Test

Recently, I have been hunting for Infinity Stones (fluorescent minerals) online (and you can read more here) and as I recall I have an LED UV Torchlight which can light up the fluorescent property in the minerals. (click here to read more) But because my LED UV torch is too strong in a purple hue and I don't know its wavelength; based online, they claimed mine is a Long Wavelength UV torch.

But a Short Wavelength UV will be best for fluorescent minerals but it costs a bomb...

I got this from Shopee for $4. USB UV light torch. Sounds like a good deal.

After almost a year of waiting since 11th Apr 2018, I decided to give my faith to this awesome product, Mokacam 4K Snap, a faith pledge in Indiegogo. (product link) Despite many of my friends warned me about pledging on any crowdfunding projects (I won't go to that) and I feel it is a way to show support to a project with a great idea. After this, (this was my second last crowdfunding support project) I must say... I have never got so DISAPPOINTED.

Honestly, I don't mind waiting for a project to take a longer time to complete but this one... seriously... Let's explain.
