Good Evening Blog,
Usually many of my friends who went to Batam, they will either stay somewhere cheap or somewhere 'resort' or Five stars hotel. My relatives will prefer to stay somewhere better. Thanks Goodness, I don't need to pay for.
We were on our way to Best Western Premier (Google map) |
It was one of the best Batam trip I have which made me feel at home.
This hotel entrance has bicycle stand, I guess those are not for guests, it is meant for the staff to cycle home. |
Honestly, I don't know why I took this pic. Oh well, I thought I will look back but I didn't, as my tummy bloatedness was the only thing I can react to. |
Best Western Premier has a grand hall. |
Beautiful |
Tall hall will help to ease the guests' mood |
On top of service counter got an interesting statue - an angel takes charge over a devil. |
Did anyone read my t-shirt? |
Wah! What an interesting and epic looking chair. |
Thanks to my Auntie H to help to take a picture of me sitting like a King. |
I love the detail and skillful sculpturing work, plus the golden-feel as if it is still alive. |
Time to admire the artwork |
I guess Batam is part of Indonesia, the Ornate Balinese Wood Carving Design belongs to their unique style. |
Interesting to have a floor without 4th floor. |
Check out the carpet, what a high-class carpet. |
Bright and quiet corridor just perfect place to chill :) |
After we settled down, I decided to walk around to explore the facilities of Best Western premier.
Spacious Gym - I will love to do some workout but... I have somewhere else to explore |
Because we reached hotel late, so swimming at night was not advisable. |
Wow, lilted up swimming pool! I WANT TO DIVE IN NOW! |
But the number of guests here and my relatives stopped me for doing so |
And it was raining too |
We went up to the top floor and an eagle welcomed us |
the top floor (15th) was a bar |
Here has an open view outside |
I glad my uncle chose this place where it is located away from the commercial zone. |
Right in front of the hotel, there is a reservoir - DAM Duriangkang Reservoir |
I wish to visit there one day and anyway, it was late, time to go back to our room. |
What a clean and spacious room. :) GREAT! |
A Beautiful toilet made me feel to take a selfie |
Big Single bed was rewarding and comforting |
Time to zzz early... why so? |
Because I wanted to wake up earlier! I woke up like 7am (6am at Batam) just for a good swim |
Glad Mr Sun still woke up early and met me. |
TIME TO swim! |
But I dared not dress down to my trunk because... there were some guests who throw me a disgusted look... but eventually... I heck care and prepared to dive in! |
I just choose to be myself |
Because I just want to swim only. |
I just want to feel connected in water |
and have Mr Sun and Miss Cloud accompany me |
Mr Photographer won't judge me |
because I am Me. |
Heck care how others going to judge me |
but Thanks goodness, there were not many guests will wake up for a morning swim so I can survive with a lesser stare |
Okay, I had done my swimming laps. |
Time to wash up |
Sometimes, it was quite lonely though... when there is no one joining the swim with me. |
Oh well... If I have an active and outdoor GF will be nice. I guess that I will have Miss Cloud accompanying me |
Time to pack and go for breakfast. Lovely swimming pool |
Everyone seemed like had a great and undisturbed rest at this hotel. Blessed this place. :) |
Time to travel to the last place (
next post) and back home.
Jeff
