Trip - Beijing - Day 8 - BaiRong World Trade Center 百栄世賀商城
Good Morning Blog,
We had seen enough of the typical tourist attractions and decided to spent our last day on shopping; we understand Beijing high standard of living which means shopping in the mall can hurt our wallet more. So based on the locals, they suggested we should...
visit this place - BaiRong World Trade Center.
There is nothing more happier than finding a mall where sells at a affordable price! Just like our Day 3 - MaKeWei Trading Place, they have a lot of products categorised by floors, and...
this place is huge like three Singapore's expo combined with sixth floors tall!
It is HUGE! One of the biggest shopping malls in Beijing!
Entrance to the mall. Be careful don't lost your way after this.
oooooo!
Each floor has its own focused category - basement: kids clothings, 1st floor: women and men clothings, 2nd floor: more Women clothing, 3rd floor: more and more women clothings and some bedsheets. 4th floor: women under garment and socks. 5th floor: sports wear etc. Another side of the building focus on toys, general merchandises, accessories, home supplies etc. (If I can remember correctly) Basically IKEA for human. Good for visitor searching non branded items!
I did some food test at the ground floor - in fact, I just wanted to taste food for free.
Let's go up and check out the products!
My mother and auntie were like hungry rabbits, entered every single they walked along.
The 'ladies' were smiling behind the glasses... because I had to carry their purchase.
Actually, their pricing are affordable. Leave it to the locals to make the bargain.
Each floor specialises in different products.
In fact, this mall has another three huge malls behind so total of six blocks of shopping malls!
Don't expect to see everything in a day, it would take a while to see everything here.
If I was a kid, I will go crazy at the Toy department
Probably my last dinner for the whole trip.
We bought a huge MANGO with the size of my palm or face! best thing about this mango is... It is almost hairless inside!
I found a Lays with durian favour - last one. I will wait to pass to my friend then try its taste
I bought this for myself - Quite interesting to play with but...
Who will play with me?
Even though it is cheapo and made of wooden blocks. At least, it won't affect the playing style and save my wallet.
You may check out the game-play and do you notice the material used for the tiles? Hmm... I think this video is meant for me XD
I also bought a gift for Christmas mood for someone (as I promised her to give her a white Christmas but failed to fulfill).
A lamp for her
And it was so Big that I can only hand-carry one back.
Nice?
I love the snowing effect and you can't get this in Singapore. Too bad, some of my Singaporean friends want this too... But I can only buy one because it sold at a very low price (last piece too). Taobao or the stores there, sell this 4-6x the price of what I paid for. So... I can only get one. Hope she likes it.
Anyway, great to do some window shopping because it is a good therapy which also includes a long hour walk for exercise.
Time to head back to so a final pack for tomorrow.
How's the shopping centre toilets? Are they very clean and not smelly? I still remember the first time I was in Beijing and was shocked to see that the toilets in the shopping center are all without doors. What I saw was a row of men all squatting and holding newspapers in their hands when doing "big business".

ReplyDeleteShopping centre toilet here is greatly improved! I was having the same mindset as you but I didn't spot any.
