  4. Hi Jeffery,
I'm training for the Bintan triathlon. I noticed you got a white 2XU trisuit. how does that compare to a black one when training on a sunny day? bobbyfrederiko@gmail.com

    1. Hi Bobby
I had emailed you, just in case you didn't get my mail.

      To answer your question
Wearing white or black won't feel any different in body temperature intake or feeling. But you will be "blinded" by the whiteness of the suit under a bright sun.

As for me, I just love white and it's rare colour to own, don't you think so?

  6. Don't ignore your high blood pressure. Hypertension can lead to stroke, heart attack and other medical issues. Reduce the sodium in your diet and take medication as required. There are many anti-hypertensive medications that work well and have few serious side-effects.

    1. I will look into this matter :)
In fact, at my age, having high blood pressure is quite common like 85% of the people I know it, got it. I do see the effect of medication. You know... strange thing is...if medication can treat high blood, then why do I witness many elders consuming for years or life time, even watch over their own diet by eating plain and simple, but their high blood does not go down.... So... I believe lack of workout (at their age, they can be pumping in the gym, right? LOL), stress and not enough rest contribute the issue. SO I will see whether if I control other aspects and see whether it will return to normal range.

    2. As I have hypertension myself, I have seen the benefits of medication. I take two drugs, and they keep my blood pressure well within the normal range. But I also keep my weight under control, don't use salt and don't smoke, amongst other things. Lifestyle changes can certainly reduce blood pressure, but if you are prone to hypertension, you may also need medication. Most blood-pressure drugs have few side-effects and can be used safely. You're already very fit, so that's good and certainly in your favour. If you keep a record of your blood pressure at home, it will help your doctor address it better when you see him (or her) in the office. Occasional readings at the doctor's office are not usually reflective of your daily blood pressure. I wish you good health!

    3. I hope so too. I will try my best to control on my diet and keep fit (as I am more prone to keep fat than fit.) ooo What is the difference between hypertension and high blood?

    4. Hi Jeff. Hypertension is just the medical term for high blood pressure. A belated happy birthday to your mother. She looks like a lovely person -- and certainly doesn't look 65. Hope to see more of your drawings one day.
