Trip - China - Day 4 - Travel by Rapid Train 快鉄

Hi Blog,

Thank you ZQ and his family for their hospitality for allowing us to stay at his place and I feel apologized for due to this loud pig 🐷 aka me who snored and disturbed his sleep...

At 6am, we were waiting for the driver to pick us up and traveled down to Li Yang. Hope for a safe trip.
Yesterday late night, I overheard that he was still planning our next destination, whether we should be taking rapid train 🚝(3hr) or by coach 🚎 (6hr) or by train 🚂 (8hr), due to limited tickets for taking train... for the locals, buying train ticket is quite simple but not for foreigners; we have to buy on the spot with our passport, so can't be certain whether will we get the tickets or not. Plus to be honest, I heard the price of getting a rapid train ticket, it will cost like RB$300 per person.

Oh well... I shall not interfere as I don't know anything, so I should trust it to the local. Just be thankful for them to make such arrangement.

Raining day today
Li Yang Train Station
Reached the train station, we rushed to the ticket counter, hoping to purchase the earliest tickets from Li Yang to Nan Jing Nan and then to Tai An.
Ticket counter
First time in Foreign Country train station
due to we are foreigners, we can only buy the ticket from the counter than online or machine
It seemed like we were lucky that someone returned their tickets and we got ourselves a seat.
Due to the train will only stop for 2 mins before departed, everyone will queue to enter
and as a good Singapore citizen, I queued but they don't...
Waiting for the train to arrive
So excited to take a train!
the train was here!
squeeze squeeze
2 mins and empty platform
It looked like taking a plane
Someone mistook our seats but lucky they understand Mandarin
Let's GO!
Glad the seat was comfort
Watching the scenery of the beautiful landscape
They have a train stewardess
Leaving this station to the second train
One way exit
Exiting
Safest trip :)
hmmmm.... so... we had to exit the station and walked to the next station
At Nan Jing Nan Train station
After two stops (30mins), we arrived Nan Jing Nan and needed to wait for 2 hours for the next train to arrive. At Nan Jing Nan railway station which serves as connect-station to other places, and the movement flow works like Bukit Panjiang station in Singapore or JB custom or airport, like where you exit at Terminal 1, walk to terminal 3.

Go through another checkup again
Massive Hall at Nan Jing Train Station
Let's fill up our stomach and waited for two hours for the next train
Check out this rapid train model
Train was coming
What a massive country
Beautiful landscape
Finally five hours of traveling, we arrived at Tai An finally, the weather condition over here was cooling and windy. Good weather!

The weather was windy and cooling!
Love the cool condition
I was the last one still in the station platform, why? because of Selfie! Hahaha
there is a government message to promote graciousness which translates "be gracious and civilized lifestyle will follow" (oops I am a lousy translator, anyone can help? If there is anyone bothered to read)
Tai an! :D
The overall experience of taking Rapid Train was that it travels like an airport but it is on land, with the average speed of 245km/hr. To be honest, I feel safe traveling on the train than the vehicle, as it is more orderly.

As the view of vast landscapes of China, make me feel so small as a Singaporean. It is NEVER easy to shape and develop big country like China.

In China, getting funding isn't easy and manage the representative also challenging... hopefully after many generations of education and great righteous minded people will smooth things out eventually. Jia you China!
