Hi Blog,
I took a leave of absence today to recharge before the start of Term 2 at school. I decided to visit my favourite island again! My boss did question why I couldn't take leave during the school holidays or go to the island on the weekend.
| Whoever knows me understands that I need a quiet beach to be an eyesore for the day. |
I don't want to go to a crowded beach; I just want to relax and do nothing for the day. Since Mr. Sun, RD and T also wanted to join me, let's go!
If you missed my previous trips to Lazarus Island, you can check them out here. Oh my, I have visited Lazarus quite regularly.

| The sunrise was so encouraging and motivating; at least, I sensed today would be a good day. |
| I have successfully located my tent after searching for it for some time. |
| But carrying it around can be a hassle. |
| This time, I was correct in travelling to the right station. Ooo! RD took the same train as me. |
| The morning sunlight here was very uplifting. |
| The ferry schedule for Lazarus is as stated on March 24, 2026. |
| Honestly, I would like to try a Genting Dream cruise someday if there is a discount. |
| Quiet and peaceful harbour |
| RD wanted to relax on the island and claimed he could help me with photography. |
| Let's see how well he does. |
| I was curious about how they built such a long wall here. |
| We took a smaller ferry that somehow took longer to reach the island. |
| The best strategy is to cut costs, especially since a war is ongoing and fuel prices are high. |
| A group of visitors to the island brought their dogs for a stroll. |
| I could smell the sea aura! |
| I was excited to meet the white sandy beach again! |
| Aww... Beauty. |
| (Credit RD) First shot of this eyesore. |
| (Credit RD) Yes, I am the eyesore that self-deluded on this beach. |
| My favourite beach. |
| I understand there are even more beautiful beaches in the world, but somehow I cannot access or visit them, so Lazarus Beach is there for me. |
| Let's head to my favourite spot. |
| The low-tide beach at Lazarus looks different. |
| But the water washed across my feet, and I still feel the same. |
| It is commendable that the beach maintenance team has kept this area in excellent condition. They deserve our respect. |
| It appeared that beneath the 'noodle' sands, a creature was resting. What the creature was exactly is unknown. |
| Haha, the dogs went all crazy when they were at the beach and had a lot of fun. Glad to know that they didn't stray from their owners. |
| According to the tidal timetable, this morning was at its lowest, which was perfect for me to explore the place I wanted to. But I couldn't just leave RD alone guarding my stuff for a while, and I had a bad feeling somehow... Maybe I am such an eyesore today; I can't enter... |
| Just like these creatures, it is not safe for them to move out of the water. |
| Since I cannot go, I shall start the tent setup, and thanks to RD for helping out. |
| (Credit RD) Honestly... I should rethink what I should wear while others are around... |
| (Credit RD) Like I was making others uncomfortable... |
| I reflected on why I feel that way... It is because I envy those people when they are shirtless; people around them just admire them, thirst for them, desire them, and feel nice having them around; unlike me, just a pure eyesore. |
| Oh well... Just like a beach, many people have their own preferences and likes. Most people prefer wider, whiter, and cleaner beaches because they feel more premium and enjoyable. Just like I prefer Lazarus Beach to the swamp. The same rule applies. I understand that demigods are attracted to and welcomed by the majority in most situations and conditions. I have also learned that I am not a white beach but a swamp; I can't force everyone to love the swamp, so it is inevitable, and I have to accept it. |
| (Credit RD) I am like a swamp or a dirty beach; I am who I am. |
| (Credit RD) I am just part of the whole world, where some people are well-liked and accepted, and others are not. |
| (Credit RD) I am not a supermodel. |
| (Credit RD) I am just an eyesore on this island, living the best here without anyone to judge, besides forcing RD to snap photos for me, which I think is only making him uncomfortable. |
| (Credit RD) Because such an ugly model should not ask too much. |
| (Credit RD) I only felt carefree on a quiet beach with almost no visitors! |
| (Credit RD) Imagine if this eyesore were replaced by a demigod; wouldn't that be a blessing to this world? I could use AI to do it easily, but it would only upset my feelings. |
| (Credit RD) Hmmm, I wanted something else, and it's not easy to expect a lot from others, especially when taking photos of an eyesore. |
| This is the ideal 3x zoom shot (but it's edited), but there may be some miscommunication. |
| (Credit RD) At least, the nice blue sky helped to make the photos look comfortable to look at. |
| (Credit RD) You don't believe me? Let's compare with these spots. Haha. Pure eyesore. |
| (Credit RD) Looks like we weren’t the only ones there. Some people were just checking out the beach from afar. |
| (Credit RD) The tide was too low to hide this sore. |
| (Credit RD) Can my disgusting body discourage the visitors from coming over here? Because I have already disgusted RD. |
| (Credit RD) Hey, stay away from here! |
| (Credit RD) Okay, I didn't discourage them from walking towards our direction; I guess they didn't even look at me to be 'eyesored'. |
| (Credit RD) Okay, I won't disgust RD too much. Thanks for helping me by contributing the eyesore photos. I will do it myself. |
| Thanks RD for helping and my apologies for making you uncomfortable. Thanks for accompanying me in the morning. |
| After RD had left, I was still wondering whether I should adjust to the suntan here without any sand on my back or not care about it... |
| (Credit RD) Oh? RD snapped one more photo of me, trying to tell me that it would be the last eyesore photo of me. |
| Meanwhile, I was waiting for T. Since T loves to suntan, I continued to disgust any visitors from coming near. My success rate today: three groups of visitors—two of them turned away before coming close, and one left the shelter in less than ten minutes. A true eyesore! |
| But a rather muscular and good-looking guy (he was alone) approached my area and settled himself at the shelter. I was wondering how come my disgusting form didn't push him away? Then he started to put on his clothes; I guessed he mistook that I was checking on him... He lives his life as a demigod; he knows people will check on him. |
| Did you see the demigod figure behind my tent? I guessed I would place a cover over my tent so that he wouldn't feel uncomfortable with me around. |
| What do you know... After I placed a cover, he left and continued at another part of the island to continue the air-worship over his great body. |
| I have to stay inside the tent because I noticed my phone had heated up due to the bright surrounding light, which is also preventing it from charging properly. I'm waiting for T to find this spot, so I spent some time figuring out new features of my tent, like this small window that allows for better air circulation. |
| It seemed like T was on the way, which meant it would be quite a long walk from the harbour. |
| I looked around this place, and no new visitors came in the afternoon. |
| I hope I will try to spend a night on this island one day. |
| It will be an interesting experience. |
| T had arrived, and it was time to sunbathe. |
| We tried to suntan for over an hour, but my phone kept receiving work messages... |
| Hate to say this... T had a short suntan session here... |
| and we had to go back... |
| Empty and cooling ferry back! Great! |
| I felt bad for T for getting a slightly more expensive ticket, as I am not there to give him a discount. |
| Thanks T, for getting some snacks for me. |
| I thought I could just lie down to rest during the return trip, but some visitors boarded the ferry. |
| Honestly, I had a great day, but I pity RD and T for having to leave so soon. I also apologise to the other island visitors for being an eyesore with my presence. |
| A good power nap, and we were back in Singapore. |
| Thank you and sorry, T, for today. Next time, we will do it again since he really loved suntanning. |
| I seemed to have developed a noticeable tan line! The back of my shoulder is heavily tanned because I struggle to apply sunscreen there properly. I don’t want to disturb anyone or make things awkward with RD or T. I need to find a way to apply sunscreen to my back myself so I can continue to become the eyesore on the island. |
