Hiking - First time With WJ and XY

It has been a while since WJ asked me to engage in an outdoor activity, today Sunday morning, we will be visiting Singapore Quarry. 

I did my cardio workout in the morning which I hoped to maintain.

After celebrated my birthday and Fox was just a few days after me, I decided to give him a small surprise party too. My plan was to have a small group of people having a simple dinner with Fox and then have another group surprise him with cake. 

Dinner group I managed to get JJ and XR, and for Cake group I got EK and WQ. We decided to have simple dinner at Zi Zai vegetarian. (facebook page)

Just bought this for Fox.... Purpose is to remind him to keep his innocence. Oh well... Too childish I guess...

Nature - FOUND FAIRY RING

Hi blog,

I was so excited to share with you that I found FAIRY RING today! That morning, I noticed there are many mushrooms growth every ground.

I found this party of fungus near my workplace but no sign of circle is formed in this mess.
I told myself that I must find one successful ring.

Personal - My Surprised Birthday Celebration on Monday Night

Hey Blog,

On my actual birthday, my friends were cooking for some surprise party. First they got Xuanyi to ask me out from my house for a small chit chat. (For me, I sensed something suspicious... So I wore something less revealing, unlike which I usually will wear comfortably at home. :3 )

I went out to meet up with Xuanyi, as he was sounded troubled so I met him at one of the coffeeshops, when the rest of the team creep into my house.

Hey Blog,

After my Pulau Ubin Trip and washed up at Xuanyi's place, I rushed down to treat my aunties some durians as a mini celebration for my Bday. 

So we decided to have durians at this stall, Lian Hua Chun Fruit Trading (facebook link) at Balestier Road.

I heard they have some great durians.

Trip - Pulau Ubin Exploration

Today I decided to visit Pulau Ubin with my bro and dear ex-pupils, Yue Min, Eugene and Max. honestly I was a bit worrying especially for Max, as he just started learning how to cycle. It had been more than ten years since I cycled there after witnessing my friend's accident - the moment how she fell off her bicycle....  

Anyway... let me do a brief introduction on what is Pulau Ubin, it is one of largest islands situated in North-East side of Singapore. It is considered the last 'Kampung' aka village in Malay, which make you feel like you are back to simpler lifestyle.... 

In this post, let me show you pictures of our experience on Pulau Ubin.

to get there, you need to take the only transport, boat at Changi village.

Personal - My Birthday Celebration on Saturday 23rd July

Hey Blog,

After a mini celebration yesterday, Weekend I will just do my usual activities like coaching and attending meeting, or even exercising. 

Today I went to Mr Li's house to do some coaching with some youths, and out of my surprised they prepared a BIRTHDAY cake for me and it was my favourite CARROT CAKE!!! It was a HUGE CAKE! And it got my Chinese name on too! Hahaha...

okay... don't laugh at my Chinese name.

Personal - My Birthday Celebration on Friday 22nd July

Hi Blog,

my birthday is near, for me, I don't usually celebrate my own birthday; just a normal day but I will buy things to reward/pamper myself. LOL! 

But today something happened which made me feel touched. My HOD came back from a course and organised a mini celebration for July birthday babies which including me. :D Usually I will see teachers celebrate with one another at their own level than my level. So this was out of my expectation!

She ordered a pizza with onion and garlic, and a chocolate cake.

After I jogged back, did a quick bathing and rushed down to fetch my mother to my cousin's house warming.

My cousin stays in a condo located at Sengkang - Riversound Residence.

Jogging - Jog to Lower Pierre Reservoir and Exploring New Path

Hey Blog,

I had planned to do jogging more often, kind of forgetting of my Fatbike. It was because I decided to stay overnight at my brother's new house and he doesn't like I park my fatbike into his new house because my bike stained his white painted wall. So I decided to do a morning jogging to Lower Pierre, as I have not visited that place for months.

Hiking - Hike with my Ex-pupils

Hey Blog,

Today was a happy experience when I got to hike with my ex-pupils, Eugene and YueMin, together with my childhood brother, Wilson. We decided to hike from MacRitchie to Bukit Timah to Singapore Quarry.

As this is their first time visiting such places

so I Showed them the tranquillity level of MacRitchie 

Visit Tree Top :) Hahaha they simply awed throughout.

Hobby - Continuously Exercise Activities

Hey Blog,

These few days (Since Saturday until Monday) I have been continuously engaging my hobby activities - Hiking (sat), Swimming and some jogging (sun) and Cycling (mon). I also did some short jogging every morning.

Below is just some sharing of my activities.
