In this post, I am going to share and summarise one of the unique places in Singapore - the Quarry. So far I did some research and tried my best to visit those places myself. If you are an explorer like me, and enjoy some natural scenery (even though it was man-made), you might visit those places.

Personal - My DSLR Workshop

I have started learning SLR camera since my schooling time, and the experience of using it was not pleasured. Firstly, that SLR is a manual camera, I need to adjust Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO etc etc. I was helpless and needed to spend money to feed in new film and spent money to develop to see the result; but it always ended up too late to know where had gone wrong. Thanks, today technology DSLR enables us to preview our shoot and correct ourselves instantly.

Personal - Thought of My Tight Attire

In this post, I will share my thought over my attire. Usually I go for fitting clothing and hugging pants and I wore straight cut or loose pants but on a shortie and average-looking Asian, I just look plain and uncomfortable (to be honest). Many people say loose pants will make me look mature; I am wondering... Is it because of how majority's neuron associate loose pants with maturity?

The top is those MATURE people will wear and the bottom is those CHILDISH people will wear

Sometimes... that logic is biased disregard individual's comfort level, and conformed by stereotypes.

App - Bloglovin

While I was reading on RSS content and tried out the app, I saw one app which was AMAZING! It was Bloglovin (available in iOS and Android)

After using Newsify app (post link) and compared with Bloglovin app; It was fairly easy to use! It was like an instagram, which you can just follow a blog. Newsify app can add more sites like normal typical website, tumblr and many more, but it can't send notification as well as Bloglovin.

Bloglovin will show which follower was reading your blog. That's a great feed.

Blog - My RSS Setup

Hi Blog,

Recently I was wondering how to make my blog update to appear on an app with notification. Then I bumped to a word, "RSS".

Ever since I blogged or read other bloggers, I will see a series of logo at a corner of a page along with instagram and facebook logos, and I don't know what is the wifi-like logo for. I bet you won't know either, don't be surprised. It was due to not massively promoted as compared to Instagram. Now I got an idea what it is.

Personal - Masaru Emoto's Rice Experiment

I made an interesting experiment. I have prepared four jars for this rice experiment, objective is to test Dr Masaru Emoto's Founding of how words and emotion can affect us in our daily life. You can check on the video for more detail.

Changing phone casing is such a troll. Sometime I have been wondering why don't the phone design inclusive of casing??? Well, in fact they did and casing is meant for personalized interests and additional benefits like extra protection from dropping, underwater casing, beautiful display of phone and prevention of dirt or water invasion.

Today I decide to start making English subtitle for one of my youtube video, Principle of Mirror, 镜子的法则, so that it can benefit who don't understand Chinese.

Yesterday I happened to passby a stall which sells iPhone casing, there was one casing which attracted my attention.

Camera-like casing for iPhone. Interesting but it is fake....

So I went online and find the actual product to increase the photo quality on iPhone, this is what I got!

iPad stylus pen hunting

I found out that my iPad stylus pen is not longer function as what it used to be. I feel like I am using an easer stylus with the amount of friction it gave. I guessed cheap stylus cannot last as we will know about it.

Keyboard layout

Out of sudden, I have a thought when I looked at keyboard. I was wondering why keyboard is not arranged in alphabetical order? I have a good habit of do my research from the Internet and someone knows the reason behind this.

Firstly we have gone back to the past when typing started.
In the year 1874, a typewriter named Christopher Sholes who designed the "QWERTY" keyboard for Remington & Sons who manufactured the first commercial typewriter.

This is a Classic typewriter, GREATEST Invention!
