Hi Blog,
November is already one of my busiest seasons, and I will not be able to explore much, but I will try. I update my overview posts more regularly or daily than my long posts.
I guess blogging is a way of healing for me. |
This is the best way to treat this blog as my personal cyberspace where I can reflect on random stupid things from time to time.
1st Nov 2024 - The first stupid thing I got myself was a Thor's Hammer Mjolnir! To be honest, it is not cheap. What am I buying this for? The obvious reason will be for cosplay, but this one is unique: it is a Bluetooth speaker! It is also a discontinued item, increasing its scarcity and rarity. Am I really worth it? I hope this lasts... I can imagine potential issues such as rust... |

3rd Nov 2024 - Yesterday I had a long day: a morning walk, an afternoon leading an activity for the elderly, an evening supporting a class and a night of badminton with my elderly brother. I was so exhausted. Sunday is yet another long day... Fortunately, ELMO agreed to meet for breakfast this morning, giving me an excuse to bring my waifu along. It is great to be able to make full use of my time. |
5th Nov 2024 - I had a fantastic experience going for a brisk jog in November. Today, I made several trips to the restroom to ease my bloated feeling, and now I feel much lighter. As I reflected on some advice I received, I remembered that people told me to keep my legs closed rather than wide open for photos. When I tried it, I felt that I looked meh. I understand why I prefer to open my legs in pictures; I want to project confidence like a superhero. However, I know I am not a superhero; So, for now, I will just imagine myself as a hero instead. LOL! |
5th Nov 2024 - After jogging, I decided to try a new barber located near my block for a haircut. The price for a haircut was only $10, which seemed like a great deal, so I figured I would give it a try, so I thought it was worth a shot. The haircut turned out fine, and I plan to come back again since it's convenient. |

7th Nov 2024 - Catching up with our VP, Dr. L, was wonderful over a simple dinner. It's good to hear that he's now teaching a group of future educators. I suppose he'll have more free time than before. Thank you for still wanting to meet up with this 'small fly.' |
8th Nov 2024 - I'm uncertain whether my shirt is too small or if I've gained weight, but it was a struggle to remove it without ruining the folds since I didn't want to fold it again. Regardless, returning to the topic of swimming, I was pleased to have the opportunity to swim today, particularly because the evening weather was delightful and sunny, even though there was heavy rain this morning. I'm exerting myself to deplete my energy so that I can go to bed early and maintain my November Challenge. |
9th Nov 2024 - I hadn't realized I took so many photos today. Had I intended to create a lengthy post, I would have started taking pictures earlier... Today marked the Bone Marrow Big Event, and I volunteered, bringing along the Thor Hammer Mjolnir as an additional prop for anyone who wanted a photo with us. It seemed to be a hit during the event, especially with a group of students who absolutely loved it. Additionally, I had some fun taking shots with other cosplayers. |
9th Nov 2024 - I had a delightful dinner with friends after the cosplay event. I'm thankful for the treat and hopeful that my wallet will bounce back soon. It was indeed a day well spent—exhausting yet rewarding. |
15th Nov 2024 - Yippee! Today marked the conclusion of the 2024 academic year and a delightful collaboration at work. What a journey it has been! We snapped a photo to celebrate the end of 2024, said goodbye to some colleagues, and started gearing up for 2025. Another highlight was the reaction to the group photos; many people enquired, "Which phone are you using?" Hahahaha! It wasn't just about the phones; my colleagues and their relatives were intrigued even during my trip to Korea! It feels wonderful to have stubbornly chosen and trusted an Honor phone, despite many being unimpressed, and now I'm glad I made the right choice. |
15th Nov 2024 - Enjoying some pocket time early and after the rain, swimming at Bedok Hometeam was a pleasure thanks to the smaller crowd. However, I expect this will change during the school holidays; it's wise to prepare for many families. Time will tell if I'm correct; perhaps there will be even fewer people if everyone decides to travel. |
15th Nov 2024 - Welcome back, WC, to Singapore, and farewell to your citizenship. Sometimes, I ponder whether I should consider renouncing my Singapore citizenship and migrating elsewhere... Where would I like to migrate? I honestly love Japan, but the language barrier is worrying... Taiwan? Hmm... perhaps. For now, I'll stick with Singapore. LOL! |
16th Nov 2024 - Yoh WC! It was great catching up with you for lunch, even if it was just for a short time. I’m really excited about planning a trip to Australia in June next year. Staying at your place sounds perfect! Let’s make the most of it and explore together. Wishing you a safe journey back home! |
16th Nov 2024 - After having a lunch meeting with WC, I continued to a larger circle gathering. We spent several hours engaged in deep and meaningful heart-to-heart conversations. During our discussions, we started planning a trip to Batam together, scheduled for February 2025. I’m excited about the opportunity to bond and create lasting memories with everyone on this adventure! |

21st Nov 2024 - Lately, I've had some pocket time to go for a quick swim, but with my busy schedule after work, I hardly have time to swim or even go for a jog. Today seemed like the perfect opportunity, but when I saw the colour of Miss Sky and the pool filled with confident teenagers splashing around and flexing their bodies to one another, I just lost all desire to swim; totally zero motivation. |
22nd Nov 2024 - I had planned to go for a jog today, even though I really wanted to swim. However, Miss Sky was still moody, so neither jogging nor swimming was possible. It's quite disappointing and can start to grow some more fat. |
25th Nov 2024 - Oh, YIPPEE! There's no rain and it's sunny! Time for some fun in the pool! I feel so happy that I can swim again! Words can't express the joy I feel while swimming, but I can't help but notice something: my other blue trunks are missing. This makes me feel a bit upset... |
26th Nov 2024 - Today was my only free time after work, and my ex-colleagues decided to organize a catch-up session. So, I'm going to push myself out of my introverted and tired mindset. |
30th Nov 2024 - Today I went to JB for a night event; in the meantime, I decided to make new glasses for myself because my current ones have some coating issues; only to discover that we are not supposed to wash our glasses with dish soap! Because it is too strong! No wonder many of my glasses had the same issues! 😂😂 The stall owner kept introducing me to the fashionable wide glasses that are popular among young people, particularly in Korea, but too bad... This time, I would rather wear professional glasses than look informal. Guess which one I chose out of six. |
30th Nov 2024 - My first wedding outside of Singapore, and the best thing for introvert-me was that I was alone and barely knew everyone at the table. The best mode allowed me to hide inside my own mind and hear my inner voice... Handsome and beautiful have gotten together, while ugly people like me simply sit back and smile. Anyway, I do not sink too deep into my mind, enjoy observing others and solitude. |
What an eventful November... NNN and many reflections and challenges in balancing my busy schedule... If you have noticed, I rarely have time to go for a hike... I hope to go on an exploration soon...
Jeff
你好有爱心和热忱,以及好人缘。赞👍😄👏
ReplyDelete哪有!哈哈,真正的愛心熱忱是那些舉辦活動的員工。我只是擺美。
Delete而且還很謙虛😉👍
DeleteLOL!
DeleteOh come on Jeff, don't call yourself ugly 👌 everyone is unique in his way, at least you have beautiful heart. Beauty is only skin deep, the most "beautiful" one will eventually fade with age. 😊
ReplyDelete:,) I hope so.
