Food - Gokul Vegetarian Restaurant

Hi Blog,

Let me share my favourite food - Indian cuisine.

Which was Gokul Vegetarian Restaurant (link)
I shall introduce Gokul to you, as it has some great food selections from North and South vegetarian Indian food, they also have an Asian food option with a fusion of Indian cooking styles.

They put up a Christmas theme in their store, what a Racial Harmony. :)
Old Gokul menu - simple and classic
Here are pictures of their new menus - Looking good with photos.
==============================================

Below were the dishes I had covered so far and I copied the write-up from the menu for easy reference.

Starter

Sardine Curry Puff - Rich in content, how I wish I can eat more of such curry puff.
Chicken 65 - Deep Fried Chicken Dish Flavoured with ginger, red chillies & vinegar
Carrot Cake - Stir fried cubes of radish cake in black sauce. Hmm... To be honest, I will rather eat carrot cake elsewhere because of the price... Plus no egg in carrot cake

Soup

Soup Kambing - Rich broth flavoured with 20 different spices and soya mutton chunks. This soup is no joke, it is very herbal-ish. Tastes Great.
Rasam - South Indian Soup prepared with tamarind juice, tomato, pepper and cumin. Soury taste and not bad at all.

Drinks

Ice Mooru - Spiced butter milk blended with ice cubes and salt. Honestly, it requires acquired taste to like this.

===========================================

Overall: Gokul Vegetarian Restaurant is a great place to taste exotic Indian food, many of my friends can't figure out why the taste has no different from the real meaty dishes or even better. But take note, don't order their Indian dishes like how Chinese do; (e.g. Ordered a few dishes and share) because one dish from Gokul can fill one stomach to the fullest, so don't underestimate the dish from the picture.
