Hiking - Trying Rail Corridor

Hi Blog,

Mr Ked had a new suggestion for our hike to explore Rail Corridor from Kranji MRT, as he claimed we can walk along rail corridor to Bukit Gombak Quarry (Little Guilin)

But it seemed like we lost our way in.... we were walking along Woodlands Road and trying to find a way in.

YIPPEE ! WE FOUND our way in! (google map link)

Difficult walking - be cautious.

NEW PLACE!

This must be one of the old drainage.

The trace of the railway ran through this path for years

Wide and open place

Looking up the sky and SEE a bird!

Spot abandoned houses (somewhere here)

Too bad we can't enter to this place.

Suddenly Mr K gave a random suggestion to explore his usual running place where is nearby, so we made a turn to Sengei Kadut Ave to Kranji Reservoir.

Found this interesting exterior factory - Furniture Collection Centre

They have such beautiful Greek/European-theme exterior

Here is the place where Mr K used to jog during his NS life.

Walking along his memory lane, and it was quite a distance.

Finally we had arrived the end of Kranji Reservoir!

What a bare and shelter-less area

Oh look! Malaysia!

Then we walked back to where we turned and continued

Spot a broken down wooden bridge (map)

Be careful when you are accessing this bridge.
For us, we have no choice but to cross over to another side.

Finally we reached Little Guilin and it was crowded with visitors but I still wanted to complete my shoot. Hehe...
