Hiking - Dragon Teeth Structure

Hi Blog,

I combined my two days into a single post because of hiccups during my first day's exploration. Anyway, I saw an interesting structure online that looked like an egg tray or Dragon Teeth, which I missed out on. I now roughly know the location, so let's clear this from my list.

It looked like a perfect day for a good hike.
Singapore's weather in December can change rapidly, and I was unsure about how easy it would be to find that structure. I hope it's an easy one.

Getting ready in my messy room, trying to fit into my old blue trisuit with my rounder body. I wanted to wear white, though, but somehow, it has been a while since I wore it.
Anyway, don't overthink it. I'm wearing my old blue suit because it was an exploration, and I don't want to dirty my other trisuit, especially the white one.
Today's weather seemed positive.
But not everyone seems positive about a dude wearing a swimsuit-like attire, walking around. Haha, I am weird, I know.
Well, honestly, no one cares. At most, they will just wonder why and throw in their best judgment towards my attire, then move on.
Personally, I just want to hike in my most comfortable clothes.
Today was a Saturday morning; as predicted, many people were hiking.
Usually, I try to stay away from crowds and enjoy the moment of tranquillity.
Hmm, it seems like I was off-topic. I was supposed to show you my exploration of the egg tray or Dragon Teeth structure, but ended up just sharing my nonsense. Perhaps I can cut to the chase right away, but somehow, every step I take brings back memories of the journey I took that day.
The weather changed as I could hear thunder.
Ah, to my readers, do you still remember this path? Where did I need to cross the water stream on a few large rocks? Now, it has become a bridge... I understand it is for the general public and safety, but it has also taken away the rawness and authenticity of hiking...
After I took a picture of the water stream, I heard more sky roaring, and I had a bad feeling about it.
Dark sky... Bad feeling...
Cold wind started to blow, and I knew I was struck...
Looking back, I calculated that the nearest shelter will be moving forward.
All I know is that my fate is sealed. I was prepared for the worst, as I could smell the rain.
Here it came!
Raining!
Honestly, I love being soaked in the rain, and fortunately, no wind will make me sick.
And I was totally soaked; that made my trisuit work as I predicted - wet but not heavy...
And I can get myself less soaked in no time, as I only leave a pool of water on the ground.
I guessed I couldn't stay here too long. I started to step out and return home when the rain wasn't heavy.
After a week from Saturday, I decided to complete my unfinished hike, but I wanted to lie down some more...
I think it won't rain this morning... I hope.
I shall jump right where I stopped previously.
It has been a while since I hiked here, and it feels like home.
Even though it is a familiar route, there are so many things that are hidden and unknown to me.
Today, I will find something new to add to my exploration list.
I can imagine that if I stay in a bigger country than Singapore and have a car, the weird places I would explore will be wider and I will be happier.
Weird things or places may seem odd among others, but that is where I find my confidence.
Like a common and normal path that has been travelled by many people, I found something uncommon.
What a large rock here.
Anyway, I should stick to the topic and leave my thoughts for another blog post.
This area has many vines, which can inspire a lot of imagination.
Finding the egg tray or Dragon Teeth structure from the given spot was easy! Can you spot it in this picture?
Can you see it now?
3x zoom. Can you see it again?
What about 10x? Haha, I understand how you feel; you have not registered what that structure looks like, so most likely, our brain won't be able to spot the structure in the picture. You can go back and try it again; I bet you will be able to immediately.
There is an obvious path towards the structure.
Oooo, I spot an interesting plant here that I don't see any plant collector keeping. After research, I found that this is Syngonium Angustatum Little Star.
I can't believe that this structure is so well hidden; I didn't notice it while hiking. To be honest, it was because I had only walked along this path less than three times. Haha.
Since it was covered by brushes and only the top was showing, it was hard to see from the side. I have no clue how it looked at first.
As I moved nearer, I noticed that the structure is built on top of the soil and is not covered on all sides.
Here is a closer look beneath the structure.
Ooo, there is a path by the side to access the top.
Another look at the side of that structure.
I nearly lost my balance while taking a picture because I needed to hold onto something instead of using both hands for the shot.
Thanks to those who visited this spot for creating a path.
Tada! Found!
It looks like an egg tray or dragon teeth?
Or to some people, they also look like tombs.
I have finally taken my drone out for a flight after keeping it unused for an extended period. Just check out the size of that structure.
You can see people strolling on the pavement, totally missing what's going on here.
Plus, I am not good-looking enough to capture any attention from the public, so I just enjoy the moment of loneliness.
I'm having fun balancing myself on these stones, but it is not safe to play parkour here.
If not, it can be a special, weird, or uncommon place for photography.
Ooo, it looked as if that stone was highlighted like it was selected by Heaven.
I went to have a closer look at the selected stone and saw that a little star plant was actually a vine and climbed on it. Anyway, back to the topic, I wondered what they built this for. What are these? I tried to search, but found nothing useful about this...
Previously, I was told this is an egg tray structure. What a cute name, based on how it looks! But I am curious about something.
My only result is that this is Dragon's Teeth anti-tank obstacles.
Then it raises another question... Why was it built above the ground or in the woods?
Given the height of where it was built, I suspected this spot might serve as a platform to prevent granite boulders from falling and injuring anyone. However, I don’t have any information or evidence to support my guess.
For now, it is a mystery. I don't know what name I should give this place... Egg Tray structure previously? Dragon's teeth as an anti-tank obstacle from Google Lens? Tomb rocks? I will stick to 'Dragon's teeth' as it sounds powerful.
Or just some photo spots to find for this nerd, as Heaven has provided me with some spotlight...
Since the spotlight was on, let's do it! Let's disgust my readers! Haha
Overall, I am glad that I could cover some more new locations in Singapore, especially based on my 'urbexploration'. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I do.

If any reader happens to know any information about this structure, please share it with me.

Jeff
