Trip - Tampines Quarry Revisit

Hi Blog,

Previously I went to Tampines Quarry and wasn't a great trip due to rain (link) And thanks Engkiat for agreeing to drive me to Tampines Quarry for revisiting since we were nearby. I decided to explore the route (map) here.

Found a small visible entrance
Seemed like visitors enter from this location
This was the overview of the after entering
Tampines Quarry - Calm lake
It has become a man-made lake.
Unique things about Tampines Quarry, beside it turned to a large man-made lake; it is also left untouched and forgotten at the corner of Tampines, hidden well behind the brushes.

Based on Seenthisscenethat's blog post (link), there is no single directional signage, streetlights or well constructed path for visitors - like an old abandoned house.

Now it has become a fishing lake... I wonder... is there fishes at all....

There are many offerings, so try to respect and leave it alone.
Observe and feel the tranquility of that place
Love this place :3
but the mosquitoes spawn told me to donate some blood to them.
Beautiful and natural scene
I was actually thinking of walking in the water, but... Better don't risk it.
Ugly me with a beautiful scene
I don't feel any Singapore element here, great place!
Okay! Thanks, Tampines Quarry, I guess I won't visit you unless someone wants a guide. So for now, see you again.

Updated on 19 March 2017 - Pictures contributed by Rup

Thank you, Rup for visiting Tampines Quarry and sending me some of the awesome pictures of the place where I have not covered.

It seemed like he entered from a different opening to Tampines Quarry
Ah! There is a watch tower!
Very 60s - 80s structure.
WAH! There is a bench for picnics but hardly anyone will use it.
It seemed like it is a totally under-developed park, really hope they will do something for this place.
Look how clean the water is. It is considered CLEAN, okay?
Beautiful man-made lake
Check out the trees trying to drink water
Feel the tranquility here
Vegetation is overwhelming here
and Mosquitoes too...

Jeff
