Spider-Man (Peter Parker) has drawn its own popularity and attentions from fans due to its own unique characteristics/personality compared to other nonsense super heroes in marvel comic history. As we are all known that Spider-man's characteristics are - he wears a blue and red (primary colour) webbed body suit and He can shoot web like material from his wrists instead of from his butt like spiders. His aerobatic fighting style and spider-senses make him even more outstanding than other heroes. He got his special abilities when he was young he was bit by a spider in a laboratory.
Peter Parker is a regular guy that people can relate to. (Like me) He was bullied in school, so he is a bit shy as well. In fact, Peter is actually a nice, cool, responsible, emotional guy like every geeky people like me who often been stereotyped by others. After Peter discovered his powers, he let go his true hidden personalities behind his mask to save the world! How I dream to be like Peter to have special power and hide behind mask to be myself, true self to save the world! *knock myself from day dreaming* (that reminds me of a movie - kick ass) haha...

Anyway, back to the movie - the amazing Spider-Man 2.
This series is about Peter Parker fights crimes as usual and the Love struggled between Gwen and him to overcome his bad experiences previously. At the same time, there is this mysterious company Oscorp and sends up a wave of supervillains against him, impacting on his life greatly.
I personally thought this was an excellent film, but with certain flaw in the story flow. It had a few moment of comedy, truly deep emotions, and action packed movie. The relationship between Gwen and Peter are lovingly.
Maybe I watched too many Honest Trailers and Movie Sins in YouTube. The downsides which grind my gears in this movie are CONVENIENTLY to have some happenings.
- Electro was working as an electrician for Oscorp, a BIG company and when he needed help, everyone just left him alone to settle some electrical stuff so that he can CONVENIENTLY become Electro!!!
- When Electro wandered to the city, doing weird thing and spotted by a policeman, then the policeman called for backup and more than seven police cars showed up over a guy who behaved weirdly, so that Electro can CONVENIENTLY show his power to destroy the cops?!
- Harry Osborn, he played his role well in the beginning, but just when he injected himself with the spider venom, he CONVENIENTLY climbed his way and suited up the goblin gears....
- There are many CONVENIENTLY events in the movies but I choose not to become spoiler.
Personally I feel Garfield and Emma acted better and way more natural than Tobey and Kirsten (Actors from older Spider-man series). Maybe because this two actors look more pretty and handsome than the older installation series. Usually Looking good sells. Their relationship has certain chemistry and it works quite well. This impact the last scene of the Amazing Spiderman 2, because *oops* almost. XD
Sally Field does good work as Aunt May, but she is there for a few reasons and leaves no lasting mark.
But at least It had an interesting start, with a glimpse inside the past and Peter's parents, but it's left underdeveloped, as is almost everything else, to make room for all its action and villains. hopefully....
Oh Yes, Have to mention the little kid at the end of the movie. I can't believe that I cry over the kid who stood up for Spiderman, just to hold up his faith in Spiderman. I feel like that kid in the movie. I will Believe in myself.
I love the Spider-man suit. It looks so detail and the texture is so amazing and compare to the previous trilogy, they look awesome ! Check them out below!
Just sit back and relax |

4.5/5 HIGHLY Recommended
Enjoy the love chemistry between Gwen and Peter (Pretty and Handsome combination KILLS!) and the CGI effect are great apart from some lousy part of the storyline of the villains...
Bonus
Gwen Stacy delivered her valedictorian speech in the graduation ceremony impacted me a lot. I will like to share with you.
"It's easy to feel hopeful on a beautiful day like today, but there will be dark days ahead of us too, and they'll be days where you feel all alone, and that's when hope is needed most, no matter how buried it gets, or how lost you feel, you must promise me, that you will hold on to hope. Keep it alive, we have to be greater than what we suffer. My wish for you, is to become hope, people need that, and even if we fail, what better way is there to live. As we look around here today, and all the people who helped make us who we are, I know it feels like we're saying goodbye, but we will carry a piece of each other, into everything we do next, to remind us of who we are, and if we're meant to be. I've had a great four years with you, I'll miss you very much."
Best!
Jeff
