Good Morning Blog,
Took a long weekend leave last Friday, since JH was away in the USA for his healing trip and I had spent my last Friday exploring already, Mr B will like to explore parks near his place.
Since I had gone to Rifle Range Nature Park and it is near his place, then let's visit that place again. |
I read online, during the weekends, Rifle Range Nature Park was filled with visitors and I won't want to go there if it is crowded. Since it was Monday, it should not be that bad, right? Right? 😅
Yawning... Feeling like I had not rested enough... |
Luckily, Mr B would be meeting me near my station so I can rest a while. |
Time to go |
Looking at the mirror, just reminded me how rounder I get these days. |
After getting Mr B from the station, we started our hike right away. |
Today's morning seemed rather quiet here. |
At least, the ideal situation will be the lesser the crowd, the better it is. |
(Credit Mr B) Yippee, no one! I believe most of the locals were either travelling oversea or JB or... Rifle Range? 😂 |
While hiking along a less crowded trail, it was the perfect time to have a heart-to-heart chat. |
(credit Mr B) Oh yeah and also having someone to help me to press the shutter button. Grateful 🙏🏼 |
But a lesser crowd can have a negative effect to make me feel a bit lazy. |
Ah, I know the reason why it was quiet today is because the tree top walk was closed on Monday. |
But I still feel rather embarrassed to self-snap pictures in front of Mr B... |
Want to feel like a wild boar? The mud ground here will make you feel like one. But if you want to experience it fully, you can have a mud bath here. |
(credit Mr B) but sometimes... Having a common topic to discuss may seem... |
...far and random. Never easy to be honest. |
(credit Mr B) well done Mr B, you made it this far, not easy. Most people will have worn off after covering half of Macritchie. |
Okay, last Friday, I ended my trip from this path, and now returned for a short hike. |
Here we go again, Rifle Range Nature Park! |
(credit Mr B) In this park, finally got to see people around. |
(credit Mr B) Great for revisiting as I can cover the part where I have not covered, like this beautiful bridge. |
Like Tree Bottom Walk. |
Anyway, coming to Rifle Range Nature Park, it is compulsory to visit this Coluge Deck and today was rather unsurprisingly packed with visitors. |
I didn't know that there is a maximum limit of visitors getting on the deck. No wonder there is a queue. I guess, having a park ranger to help to control the traffic, is admirable. |
(credit Mr B) Meanwhile, can spend some time posing with this pixelated wall. |
🤔 Hmm... Some people on the deck took a rather long time... I understand that the group of friends may take slightly longer but there were a few. Just won't leave the spot... Perhaps they forgot there is a queue. |
Ah... Finally! Our turn! Bright shot here. |
Finally got to see Mr B take out his phone and snapped some pictures. Mr B was rather shy, not to be in the pictures. |
Alright... Time to return to civilization. |
I guess looking away has become my favourite shot/pose |
Because I don't look great looking at the camera, I don't have great facial features. |
(credit Mr B) I require beautiful scenery to back me up. |
A simple hike here is perfect for families and friends. |
Now looking and studying a bit of those new parks... Most of them tend to have a tall rising boardwalk, or I just made a quick and simple assumption... Or maybe it depends on location too. |
(credit Mr B) My favourite shoot for the day. Sometimes I wished there is a drone to achieve some pictures which I dream of; but I doubt I have the capital to get a drone (if not, it will become a white elephant, unless I can loan it). |
Oh? 😂 Spotted KW doing an introduction to the visitors! 😂 KW gives me a private tour here, please? |
(credit Mr B) it seemed like it is going to rain sooner. |
(credit Mr B) what a chilled hike and a catch-up session. I don't want to bore you with my meh post. |
Meeting up is great but I feel exchanging information (personal experience and information which we don't share usually) will help us to know one another better by engaging, encouraging and exchanging. But I understand it will only work for some people, like those needing to tune towards any individual. What a wide range to cover.
