MapleSea - Maplestory Gameplay

Hi Blog,

Now I will go into detail of explaining the gameplay of Maplestory. Maplestory is a 2D strolling platform game, It is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) which afford interaction among players, complete quests, trading and combating monsters in real-life.

In Maplestory gameplay, keyboard and mouse are essential to have. (You don't say!) Having a good working keyboard is important because you need to press the key to activate certain skills and use certain potions during the game. (You don't say!) Mouse wise, just get a normal working mouse will do. (You don't say again!)

Sample of how my Key setting. Lesser it is, the better it is.

Hahaha... We can't use a controller to play Maplestory (Sometimes I wish we can do so) because we need to macro the skills on the keyboard.

Different people will have their own individual key settings, depending on how comfortable and organise the player feels. Good key setting will mean lesser hiccups gameplay.

Just a sample of the worst setting ever.

The mouse is used to trigger NPCs and selection in the game. If your mouse is not working, you will have difficultly select/trigger in this game.

In this game beside gaining experience to level up your own character, they have in-game currency called "Meso", which you can get it from monster drops or selling your items.

As a beginner player, it is a PAIN to earn enough meso in the beginning. Like I mentioned in the previous post, it is better to play with friends who can spare you a few equipments or potions or meso (BEST), if not, you will have a HELL way playing this game.

Most players actually loaded when you see some cashy looking players. Usually they got their mesos from ***cursored***

Speaking about equipments, there are many different equipments for different classes or jobs. If you  unable to meet certain requirements of the weapon, It will highlight in red.

Sample of how it will look like.
The rest of the gaming experience, you will have to play it yourself. :)
