Hiking - Get Out of Jail Free

Hi Blog,

This post was published late on 29th November, but I decided to distribute my content evenly and took my time to draft it. Recently, the weather has been rainy, and I had a location in mind to visit, but my plans depended on my weekend availability and the weather conditions.

Fortunately, Heaven allowed me to step out for an exploration!
There is a place I won't name, but it's somewhere I want to visit before it disappears. While I may not have many details about this location, my intention is to preserve its memory. It has been an interesting part of my entire exploration experience.

Checking my phone and filling in some details about my exploration.
I was still wondering... Should I be worrying...
I guessed I should not overthink
What else can happen?
The weather should not be the primary concern.
It was something else somehow...
Is there someone watching me?
Sometimes, I wonder what life is like beyond this fence.
Activate my imagination mode!
Teleported to a different dimension
Since 2018, this place has turned into a 'dust collection centre'.
Even the grass has grown wilder and taller.
I am uncertain about the purpose of those buildings. I was merely exploring the area.
Looks like I’m not alone; it’s my first time meeting humans in this dimension. Better keep a low profile!
Let's explore other buildings.
The cage fence is everywhere.
Even in the toilet window, to prevent anyone from escaping or straying outside the boundaries.
The toilet bowl was hidden away from anyone to hide anything.
You can feel that the freedom was taken away.
How could life be if you have to stay inside such a cage for years?
But they had other facilities around, like this sports hall.
At the very least, they addressed fundamental human needs.
There was some activity occurring here previously.
They organised an internal match, which is likely to be quite entertaining.
Beside the sports hall, there was this little office that looked like a sound room.
The cage fence continued to serve as a reminder of my current exploration...
I find that locations without barriers provide me with a sense of comfort.
When seeing the cage surrounding me, I can't feel a sense of...
... sombre... similar to the animals that are kept in zoos or behind enclosures...
From the images, don't you think so?
For the workers, there is always a difference in space from the outside.
Typical old office setting.
A checklist for maintenance.
There was another spacious room resembling a conference or officer room, which had a unique footing marker.
It seemed like I was not alone... was I having a NNN imagination?
What was the purpose of this room? For interrogation or interview?
Or a human experiment for aliens?
This spot might be intended for desk-bound administrative tasks.
Let's explore somewhere else.
Oooo, main gate visit?
This is what it looked like here. I thought I’d see a classic HK movie scene with prisoners and their visitors.
On the same floor, there were several rooms.
Their resting place had double beds and open-concept toilets... I would feel embarrassed to use the toilet like this.
Besides their rooms, there were workshops for them.
There is a small area designated for typical activities.
If I found myself in that situation, I'd totally hang out in the small library.
Tool box - It appears that they need to ensure the number of tools is returned to the designated location before they are locked up for the day.
I am uncertain about the purpose of this room; it may serve as an office for monitoring the individuals present here.
This is my first experience observing a spiral cage staircase..
What an interesting approach to conserving space and transitioning from one location to another.
What a long, caged corridor
Oh?! I spotted some bags on the table... They must be from the workers.
Let's explore the 2nd floor.
I can envision people relaxing, walking around, and interacting in this space... until the doors close at certain times.
Ah, the 2nd floor was noticeably brighter compared to the 1st floor.
Looking down through the cage, surveying the facility space from above.
The top of the spiral stair.
Totally different vibe.
Wow! Someone definitely wanted a dramatic entrance here.
I was curious about its purpose, but I didn't want to overthink it and just snapped a photo instead.
This area felt like their space for creativity, and it's wonderful that they were allowed to express themselves here; it clearly had a positive impact.
In another block, there was an Adjudication Room. I've never encountered the word "Adjudication" before, but after looking it up, it refers to the formal process of resolving legal disputes or making judgments within a legal context. However, I still can't get its pronunciation and keep it in my goldfish's memory.
This block seemed to be for the officers' unit.
What a spacious room, fostering imagination rather than restraint.
Even their bathroom was larger than my own room.
Moving up to the second floor, I was greeted by a thrown table blocking the staircase; I had to climb beneath it to proceed.
Empty room... Hmm... SKIP!
Oooo! They had a classroom here.
While their freedom might have been restricted, providing access to knowledge demonstrates a humanised approach.
I considered stepping outside for a better view, but decided to remain indoors.
A road leads to nowhere.
The caged corridors definitely offer a different vibe from our daily lives, conveying feelings of containment and restriction... a truly sombre atmosphere.
Hmm... No clue about what this workshop was used for... Skip!
Looks like they were trying to burn something on the trolley; I was curious about what kind of party it was.
Somehow a different layout room.
Should be an officer room.
It's too much of a cage; even the bird can't get in or out.
Operation room. The clock stopped at 8:30, the last moment it marked in this place.
Four interesting golden rules for making zero bargains.
OOO! Found a Singular cell!
The epic lighting created an intriguing scene.
But my ugly face doesn't make it great...
The people here needed to maintain a recruit head style.
One of the most unforgettable characters here - Lady M
Definitely had to take pictures with Lady H, but she seemed lonely and hungry. Lady M, I think there are far better people than me out there.
Wow, some mannequin here. I wished to see more of them but...
Their height was intimidating... I'm just a shortie...
I wondered are there more of you?
Show me around!
It seemed like only a few.
What an old CCTV here.
Not sure what this room was for, but I had to cut my visit short.
Time to go.
Goodbye.
Luckily, my memory never fails me, so I can find my way out.
I was grateful the gate was unlocked; if it had been locked, I doubt I could have looked around.
It was time to leave, but then something bad happened to me right after...
I was caught by a worker, but luckily they let me go and sent me back to my own dimension.
What a scary yet rewarding experience. I was glad to explore an alternate dimension and see a place I might never have the chance to visit again.
